I also asked them if Apple's Thunderbolt 3 cable is able to output video (just to be sure), and they confirmed it. I have contacted Apple Support, and they told me to reset both SMC and NVRAM, which I did but didn’t solve the issue. Even then, another issue arises, where the signal would be stuck at 30Hz. I have been able to get it to work in the past using either the USB-C cable that's included in the monitor's box or a USB-C to HDMI cable that I own, but I would have to close the laptop lid and fidget with the cable for at least 10 minutes before I can get the display to show up. The monitor does have USB-C power delivery, so when I connect it, the MacBook is charging, but not displaying second display. I want to connect an external monitor using the MacBook's Thunderbolt 3 cable, but when I tried connecting it, the monitor isn’t detecting a signal.
